Course Objectives

On completion of two parts of this basic course, delegates will be able to create and track an entire project from start to completion. They will learn to create and link tasks, reschedule the project structure, display progress, set up code libraries, formatting, filters, views and print out a project with annotations, plus understand all necessary reporting. You will also be able to analyse the critical path, understand the concept of ‘float’ and create a coded reporting system so that projects can be presented professionally.

Resource and Cost Management

This one-day course is for individuals who would like to learn how to manage Resource & Cost planning and controlling in projects. It’s a practical course focused on resource management and using the tactical tool to improve Resource and Cost Skills.

At the end of the course, delegates will be able to allocate costs and resources to tasks and then to report on these allocations using histograms. Create Project Cash Follow report and they will also be shown how to compare and report against planned vs actual data using baselines. Resource levelling and resource modelling is also covered.
